ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive our growth and expand our reach across Canada. You will manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, dedicating 60% of your efforts to outbound sales strategies and 40% to inbound opportunities. Additionally, you will manage our CRM system to track leads, ensure optimal transparency, and maintain a seamless sales process. Collaboration with internal teams will also be key to ensuring a smooth transition to project managers post-sale.
Key Responsibilities
Business development and sales
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with municipalities and organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Lead RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, including preparing proposals and presentations.
- Balance sales efforts: 60% on prospecting (research, cold calls, networking) and 40% on inbound leads.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while embracing our culture of collaboration and fun.
CRM management
- Maintain and update the CRM system to track leads, sales activities, and progress.
- Generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate documentation of client interactions and project details.
Partnerships and client relationships
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients’ needs and aligning them with Aire Commune’s offerings.
- Foster long-term partnerships that reflect our values of collaboration and community.
Coordination and transition
- Work closely with project managers to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution.
- Clearly communicate project details, client expectations, and timelines.
- Represent client interests within the team to ensure project success.
Skills and qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in both English and French.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and transitions simultaneously.
- Passion for collaboration, creativity, and making a positive impact in communities.
Assets:
- Strong knowledge of RFP processes.
- Familiarity with the event, cultural, or urban design sectors.
Conditions and benefits
Annual Salary: Based on experience.
Annual Bonus: Based on individual and collective performance.
Hybrid Work: Minimum 2 days per week in the office.
4-Day Work Week: Monday to Thursday.
Extended Remote Work: Option to work remotely for one consecutive month.
