SOUS ZÉRO is a FREE and open-to-all winter music festival imagined by Aire commune, designed to bring people together, celebrate, and connect around the New Year’s festivities in the heart of Old Montreal. SOUS ZÉRO transforms Place Jacques-Cartier into a vibrant space, offering a diverse music lineup and performances to experience winter in a whole new way.

SOUS ZÉRO promises to warm up the city, even in the middle of winter.

The event will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 1 PM to midnight; Monday, December 30th from 1 PM to midnight; and Tuesday, December 31st from 1 PM to 2 AM.

The event will take place at Place Jacques-Cartier in Old Montreal.L

The SOUS ZÉRO festival site is located on Place Jacques-Cartier, in the heart of Old Montreal. We strongly recommend that you use public transport to get there.

By metro

The Champ-de-Mars and Place-d’Armes metro stations, on line 2 – Orange, are close to the site of the celebrations. Both stations are equipped with elevators for families or people with reduced mobility.

No, the event is open to everyone. The programming is more family-oriented during the day and becomes more festive in the evening. In any case, an ID may be requested when purchasing alcohol.

Yes, the event is 100% outdoors. We recommend dressing appropriately for winter conditions. Make sure to check the weather forecast before arriving!

• Dangerous objects: Anything that could cause injury (e.g., ammunition, pocket knives, pepper spray, stun guns, etc.).

• Drugs: Illegal drugs and drug consumption equipment. Prescription medications must be properly labeled and in packaging that matches the ID of the holder. Cannabis is only allowed with the SQDC seal.
