The project
Aire commune Mile-end
Halfway between a coworking space and an ephemeral public space, it was in 2017 that the very first Aire commune project was born.
A summertime work and social space in the heart of the Mile-End, Aire commune was an open-air gathering place until 2019.
This outdoor event venue was designed to host 5 à 7s that attracted thousands of workers, entrepreneurs, artists and students aged 18 to 40 every week. Hundreds of people went there every day to work, meet with colleagues, take part in conferences, or just have a drink with friends.
Results
- More than 100,000 visitors on the site in one season
- 2.8 million dollars in economic benefits in one season
Zones
- Outdoor work areas with tables, electricity and Wi-Fi
- Multi-purpose stage for DJs and artists
- Transformation and design of containers into bars and restaurants
- Games area conceptualized and created for a partner

Testimonies
The fact that everyone's getting together to talk business as well as to chill out to some insane music is just amazing!
My favorite aspect of the site is the casual aspect that allows you to relax on a Thursday evening over a drink in a pleasant, outdoor environment.
