Snider Park
Snider Park transforms a former vacant lot in the heart of Centretown, Ottawa, into a vibrant, colourful, and welcoming public space. Designed as a true gathering place, the site brings together greenery, urban furniture, seating areas, a stage, café, public Wi-Fi, and art installations. It offers a new space to meet, work, create, attend an event, or simply experience the city differently.
Entirely designed, fabricated, and installed by Aire commune, the project embraces a flexible, human-scale approach that encourages connection and brings new energy to downtown beyond traditional working hours. From concept to completion, Snider Park reflects our approach to placemaking: transforming underused spaces into lively, welcoming destinations rooted in their communities.
